PART-TIME Production Staff - $15.90/hour after probation

The new plant, conveniently located just off Hamilton Rd. and Veteran’s Memorial Parkway, require a number of employees to join our Production teams as Part-time employees.

Our Part-time positions are great for those looking to fill their off-days and earn supplemental income, or those who simply want some flexibility around the hours they can work.

Position Summary:

• Work up to 4 shifts per week depending on YOUR availability; you are only required to be available for at least two shifts
• Shift times could vary on a daily basis depending on the product and your workstation assignment; Typically shifts start between 3am – 8am and run for up to 10 hours
• Work on the production line in a variety of roles that work to produce our high quality cake products
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
• Work on various tasks with a focus on detail and quality
• Work in a fast-paced, team environment

Millwright

The new plant, conveniently located just off the Hamilton Rd. and Veteran’s Memorial Parkway, is looking to hire a Millwright to join our Maintenance team.

Duties will include:

• Supporting operations by assembling, repairing and troubleshooting machinery and equipment on the production line
• Machining and fabricating pieces for machinery

Senior Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our CEO, VP’s, Sales & Marketing team, and Product Development & Innovation team.

Duties will include:

• Attention to key deliverables – proactive delivery of administrative support
• Calendar management
• Event planning and meeting logistics coordination
• Presentation support and development
• Travel arrangements and support
• Agenda and minutes support
• Act as "Super User" of technical meeting solutions (e.g. Conference Calls, Live Meeting, presentation tools, A/V, etc.)
• Develop and maintain departmental activity calendar
• Key coordinator of Consumer/Customer Incident response
• Coordinate New Hire logistics for both local and field personnel

Navision (C/SIDE) Programmer

The Original Cakerie is Canada’s leading and largest privately owned frozen dessert manufacturer. Our business has grown to employ over 450 staff in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Along with continued plant expansion and product line growth, the most important ingredient in our continued success has been our people.

We are currently looking for a Navision (C/SIDE) Programmer to join our IT team. Drawing on previous Microsoft Dynamics Navision development experience, this individual will enable the departmental goal of self-sufficient ERP development and reduced outsourcing expenses.

Key objectives of the role include:

• High quality Microsoft Navision development through C/SIDE programming including customization for functionality and reporting
• Aligning Navision solutions with organizational objectives
• Troubleshooting Navision related issues by analyzing requirements of internal/external customers
• Workflow development
• Database design
• Application integration
• Creating functional design documents, project documentation, and user guides
