Duties will include: 

• Supporting operations by assembling, repairing, and troubleshooting machinery and equipment on the production line
• Machining and fabricating pieces for machinery
• Completing Preventative Maintenance on equipment as scheduled

• Experience with design and fabrication
• BC TQ or IP Red Seal Journeyman Millwright
• Experience in Sanitary TIG welding
• Experience with lathes and milling equipment
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills
• Preference given to candidates who have PLC and Electrical skills
• Existing 4th Class Power Engineer certification is an asset.  Candidates not holding this certificate may be considered, with the expectation that the certification will be completed. This process may be funded and supported by The Original Cakerie. 

This department operates on a 24/7 basis, so flexibility to work shift work is required.  The starting wage for Millwrights is $29.64/hour. Employees with both Millwright and Power Engineer certificates will also receive an hourly premium, on top of the hourly wage.
